Hello! My name is Aksharra Maheshwari and I am glad to be your deputy chair for UNHCR at the MUN@UWCE 2024 Conference. I am a grade 10 student at UWC East however my MUN journey started in grade 7. Throughout my journey I have been able to learn about the world as a whole and made many friends along the way. I have grown a lot since my first conference in 7th grade and I look forward to seeing others in this committee grow. I am sure we will all have a spectacular conference! Head Chair: Derya Okten
Hello everyone! I'm Derya Okten, and I'm delighted to welcome you all to this year's MUN@UWCE conference. Currently a grade 11 student at UWC East, it's a tremendous honour for me to serve as your head chair. I embarked on my MUN journey in grade 6 and this is my second time as head chair, but my first chairing the UNHCR committee and one I’m sure will be memorable. I'm enthusiastic about ensuring that this MUN conference is a special experience for all participants, regardless of prior experience. Let's achieve this together through engaging debates, thoughtful discussions, POIs, and, most importantly, by having fun. I look forward to meeting each of you. Hello! I'm Mahika Bihani and I'm looking forward to being your deputy chair at this year's MUN@UWCSEA conference. I'm currently a grade 10 student at UWC East.
