Hello, I'm Jenny, currently in grade 10 at UWCSEA East. It's an honor to serve as the deputy chair of NATO for MS-MUN@UWC. While I began my Model United Nations (MUN) journey only last year at UWCSEA East, I've had prior involvement in MUN activities at my previous school. Stepping into the role of a country and analyzing contentious issues from that standpoint has consistently provided me with a fascinating and immersive experience. This exposure has not only broadened my understanding of political affairs but has also enhanced my grasp of effective communication strategies and techniques, crucial for meaningful discussions and speeches. This will mark my third conference taking on the chair's role, and I am enthusiastic about the prospect of engaging in substantive discussions and formulating resolutions during this event. Above all, I hope all of you can gain reflective feedback and insights post-conference, and grow henceforth as a delegate. Should you have any inquiries or concerns, please feel free to contact me via email or Google Chat at jiang115843@gapps.uwcsea.edu.sg. I look forward to meeting all of you!

Hello everyone and a very warm welcome to the NATO committee this year! I’m Bene, a grade 10 student from Ruamrudee International School (RIS) in Bangkok, Thailand. I’ve been involved in MUN for the past 5 years as a chair, delegate, and secretariat in various conferences both locally and internationally. I truly believe that MUN and the skills gained through MUN are extremely relevant and vital in today’s world. So, it is my honor to be one of your chairs for this upcoming conference! No matter if you’re an experienced MUN-er or this is your first conference ever, I hope you all find your passion for advocacy, learn from each other, have fun, and form lasting friendships. I’m looking forward to meeting all of you and making this a memorable conference! Do not hesitate to contact me (vorananp26@rism.ac.th) if you have any questions at all.

Hi everyone! I am Chaarvi Mehta, a grade 9 student from UWCSEA. I have been doing MUN for the past 3 years and it has been a great experience! In the years of MUN I have been exposed to so many new people, and loved the process of preparing for the conference, to debating on the resolution. I believe that MUN has not only improved my confidence in public speaking but has given me different perspectives on topics and taught me how to deal with conflicts and new people. Whether it is your first or fifth conference I hope that we all learn something new from each other and grow to become a better delegate. This is my tenth conference and it will be my first chairing experience. I am very excited and looking forward to our conference!! Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions; mehta07893@gappps.uwcsea.edu.sg
