Deputy Chair: Raghav Sarin
​My name is Raghav, and am currently a Grade 9 student attending UWCSEA East. I am thrilled to be serving as your deputy chair for COP-29. My MUN journey started only a few years ago in middle school, much like many of you; I have had the pleasure of attending over 6 conferences, and this will be my first chairing experience. I am looking forward to seeing strong resolutions, intriguing POIs, and an overall fantastic debate from the whole committee. See you in February!

Head Chair: Sail Chhotray
​Hi, my name is Sail, and I’m a Grade 10 student currently studying at the United World College of South East Asia (Dover). I’ve been actively participating in MUN for the past seven years, allowing me to attend 16 conferences. Over the years, I’ve explored several distinct issues in various committees, all of which have helped me learn and grow my passion for diplomacy and global affairs. As Head Chair, I strive to create an inviting and engaging environment for debate, and I am particularly enthusiastic about the topics we will explore in COP-29, which will host discussions that are not only timely, but also critical in shaping a sustainable and equitable future. I look forward to serving as the Head Chair of the COP-29 Committee and meeting you all soon so we can pass some meaningful resolutions in February.

Hi, my name is Sophia, and I am a 15 year old student at UWC East. I have been a part of MUN for 3 years, attending nine conferences to date. Conferences have served as meaningful learning experiences which further inspired me to grow in MUN. In COP-29, we will be discussing topics that are essential to the future of sustainability and global development. I can’t wait to meet you all to debate these very relevant topics that will be sure to drive some fruitful debate. Us chairs look forward to seeing the innovative solutions you bring to the committee.
