Christine Lund DIRECTOR It has been my great privilege to oversee MUN at four different schools over 12 years, and I'm ecstatic to join such a dedicated and accomplished group of delegates here at UWCSEA. I’m an MUN fan because I see the intrinsic value in championing young people who wish to tackle complex issues, model diplomacy, and pave the way for progress. I am an advocate for the transformative experience MUN gives students, and see it as congruent to UWC’s mission to use education as 'a force to unite people, nations and cultures for peace and a sustainable future.' |

Abhinav Choudhary Executive Hey there! My name is Abhinav, and I am a Grade 11 student who has been doing Model United Nations for around 5-ish years now. MUN has always served as a comfort zone for me, one which I can come back to when I need anything. From the introverted Grade 6 Student who stepped into the MUN Environment, I have truly seen my public speaking skills develop in real time. This year, I had the opportunity to create a new PSMUN@East Program, organize the Model Artic Council graced by the ambassador of Norway, Mr. Eivend S Homme, serve as the Secretary General for the MSMUN@East Conference and I now look forward to an extremely succesful HSMUN@East Conference. Hope to see you all there :) |

I’ve been doing Model United Nations since Grade 6, and I’m extremely grateful to MUN for bringing me so many of the opportunities, friendships, and experiences I’ve had over the last four years by letting me explore new interests and develop my skills in a variety of ways. I’ve definitely changed a lot from the timid middle schooler who had about four contributions in their first conference, and MUN is absolutely something to which I can attribute that growth. I look forward to working with the rest of our amazing executive team to create more of the memories I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing during my time in MUN so far! |
