Deputy Chair: Vishwatha Venkatesan
Hi everyone. My name is Vish. I’m a
freshman at Stamford American International School, and I’ve been passionate about MUN ever since I joined, back in elementary. Over the many years, I’ve done many MUNs, participating in committees ranging from DISEC to ICC - all of which have helped me with my knowledge of MUN. As the Deputy chair of UNHRC for this conference, I am very excited as this committee holds sentimental value as this was my first ever committee. I am just as excited to make this committee as exciting for every delegates-whether it's their first MUN or 47th MUN. Let’s work together to make this conference meaningful and memorable for everyone working for its success. In case of any questions, don’t hesitate to email me at [email protected]! |

Hello! I’m Anaika, a 14 year old student at UWCSEA East. I am currently in my fourth year of MUN, and have participated in 12 conferences across several committees, all of which have proved necessary for the betterment of our world. Among these is the Human Rights Council, which is undeniably integral in monitoring, protecting, and promoting human rights around the world. I am delighted to serve as your head chair and can’t wait to meet you all this February!
Should you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me at [email protected]. |
Deputy Chair: Shaurya Ambedkar
Hello, my name is Shaurya. I’m 14 and currently studying at UWCSEA East. My participation in MUN has allowed me to attend 12 conferences, explore committees and work with other delegates to make decisive and constructive resolutions. I am enthusiastic about my role in the UNHRC for its role in humanitarian crises, the protection of human rights, and the safety of the world’s population. The issues at hand present interesting dilemmas between national security and human rights, challenging delegates to compromise and collaborate to ensure satisfying solutions. That being said, I am honoured to be your Deputy Chair at MSMUN@East! I look forward to meeting all of you!
