Hi, delegates, my name is Jack Taylor, and I am a grade nine student at the UWCSEA east campus. 4 years ago, when I started my MUN journey, I didn’t know what to expect, but looking back on it, I am grateful for my fellow delegates, and “honourable” chairs. This committee, COP-28, is special to me for a few reasons. To start, I was the delegate of the USA in this committee for our HS conference, and I sincerely enjoyed watching all the delegates make their passionate speeches, some harshly targeted at me. I also like COP for its more relatable topics, focusing on the environment, which we have all learned countless times. With this, I hope you will enjoy not just this committee, but the conference as a whole.

Hi delegates! I am Kavin, your head chair for the COP28 committee. I started my MUN journey when I was in grade 7. My most memorable experience was my first UWCMUN conference, it was a very fun and thought-invoking experience, I was also under the hands of amazing chairs. I hope that this conference will be an even better experience under our guidance and I am looking forward to a fruitful and entertaining debate!

Hi! I’m Aditi, a freshman at Singapore American School. This is my 7th conference: I chaired one SAIS conference before and represented as a delegate in five conferences. I joined MUN in 7th grade and represented as the delegate of the DPRK during my MSMUN@UWCEast in 2023, which was one of the most fun and fruitful debates I’ve attended. I hope you have the same opportunity at this conference. See you soon!
