Hi everyone. My name is Aveev, and I’m a Grade 12 student at UWCSEA. My MUN journey began back in Grade 6, and since then, it has been an incredibly important part of my life. I am incredibly honored to serve as your Head Chair for the ASEAN committee at EastMUN this year. We will be focusing on two crucial topics: The Rohingya humanitarian and displacement crisis, and Piracy and Maritime security in the Malacca Strait. I am excited to see how you all debate, craft impactful solutions, and grow and embody the conference theme Per Aspera Ad Astra (through hardship to the stars).

Hi everyone! My name is Pranit and I am looking forward to working with you all. I'm a 12th grade student in UWC, and I have been doing MUN since middle school. However, this conference is my first time chairing ( I've only been a delegate before). The topics we will be discussing are extremely relevant in our world, therefore, I am excited to see a fruitful debate unfold. I hope solutions are developed in an enjoyable yet productive way.
