Hello! My name is Anaika. I’m a Grade 11 student at UWCSEA East, and this is my sixth year participating in MUN. Throughout my MUN career, I have been exposed to a myriad of issues that present themselves as threats to our world today, but more so inspired by the dynamism of delegates to resolve said threats. Each and every MUN committee presents an opportunity for growth in this manner, but especially the Courts. As a former Advocate and Best Judge, I am honoured to be your ICC President for MUN@UWCSEA XIV, where we will be hearing the case of The Prosecutor v. Ahmad Al Faqi Al Mahdi.

Hi everyone, my name is Aahana, and I’m a Grade 12 student at Singapore American School. I’ve participated in MUN for the past four years and have been truly grateful for the opportunity to debate and come to fruitful resolutions on some of the world’s most pressing issues. The case of The Prosecutor v. Ahmad Al Faqi Al Mahdi set a historical precedent in the recognition of cultural destruction as a war crime; I look forward to hearing this case with you all.
