Hi Delegates! My name is Vimrsh Patnaik, and I am very excited to be your Head Chair for MUN@UWCSEA XIV 2026! I have been doing MUN since middle school, and have found a passion in discussing global policies and watching diplomacy in real time, so I am super hyped up to see everyone color their ideas throughout the conference. I have no doubt that the discussions will be tense and the debates will be fruitful, so I hope to see everyone participate! DISEC is actually a special committee to me, because my first two conferences ever had me take the role of a delegate in this very committee, so I am glad I can round out my MUN career leading this!

Hello everyone! I am Armaan and I will be your deputy chair for DISEC at this conference. I am currently studying at UWCSEA East and am in Grade 10 at the moment. I have been doing MUN since Grade 7, making this my fourth year in MUN. This conference will be my 12th as well as my third conference chairing. MUN is a great activity to take part in where you can meet lots of new people and learn a host of new skills. When I started doing MUN, I wasn’t really interested in it, and I never realised how much I would come to enjoy it! I’m looking forward to being your deputy chair for DISEC at MUN@UWCSEA XIV!
