Head Chair: Sabrina Peña-Sy
Sabrina Peña-Sy is a junior focused on political economy and philosophy. She joined MUN in 7th grade and has since found a love for history and geopolitics and inspiration in the determination and ingenuity reflected in so many MUN delegates. She has had the privilege of leading the Elementary School Model United Nations program and looks forward to chairing a fruitful debate during this year’s MUN@UWCSEA conference. Outside of MUN, she is a debater and a Student Government representative, and outside of school, she “enjoys” listening to politics and philosophy podcasts, making coffee, buying books, organizing yarn, and watching the ship of state run itself into iceberg after iceberg.

Deputy Chair: Siddhant TandonHey everyone, my name is Sid, and I’m a grade 10 student at UWCSEA I joined Model United Nations back in Grade 8, and like many of you might be feeling now, I was nervous stepping into my first conference, unsure of I how to speak up or make an impact in committee. Since then, after participating in 6-7 conferences and delegating in different committees that has changed. Coming from Singapore, but originally from India, I’ve always been fascinated by how international cooperation bridges such diverse perspectives, and that’s something MUN embodies perfectly, as well as the occasional controversial crises that add a bit of fun to committee. I hope to create a space where both experienced, and less fledged delegates can embody the MUN experience, and I can’t wait to see you in committee.
