Deputy Chair: Sid Tandon
Hey everyone, my name is Sid, and I’m a grade 10 student at UWCSEA. I joined Model United Nations back in Grade 8, and like many of you might be feeling now, I was nervous stepping into my first conference, unsure of how to speak up or make an impact in committee. Since then, after participating in 7 conferences and delegating in different committees, that has changed.
Coming from Singapore, but originally from India, I’ve always been fascinated by how international cooperation bridges such diverse perspectives, and that’s something MUN embodies perfectly, as well as the occasional controversial crises that add a bit of fun to the committee. I hope to create a space where both experienced and less fledged delegates can embody the MUN experience, and I can’t wait to see you in committee. |
Head Chair: Julian Soo
Hi everyone! My name is Julian Soo, a Grade 10 student currently studying at UWCSEA Dover.
I began my MUN journey in this conference and exact same committee 3 years ago, and after 10 conferences as a delegate, head of state and chair, I am honoured to be serving as your head chair for this conference. MUN has allowed me to develop my public speaking and collaborative skills, as well as giving me confidence in many activities I partake in, and beyond the committee room. If you have any questions prior to or during the conference, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me at [email protected]. See you all in January 2026! |
Deputy Chair: Sara
Hi! My name is Sara, and I am a 9th grader at UWCSEA East. I have been doing MUN for 2 years now, and it has truly become one of my foremost passions.
I still remember my first middle school conference, it is one of the most exciting parts of becoming a delegate, and now having done over 6 conferences, I can say middle school conferences are a valuable experience, and I am so happy you guys get to experience this! INTERPOL is a vital committee for the UN and I look forward to hearing engaging discourse and debate around such a valuable topic. See you soon! |
