Deputy Chair: Angad Varma
Hi, my name is Angad, and I am a Grade 9 student at UWCSEA East. I joined MUN four years ago, and like some of you, I felt nervous too about stepping into my first conference. Now, I have participated in over 7 conferences, which has helped me grow to be a confident speaker and a valuable delegate in committee. In the current day, Children in Armed Conflicts and Rights of Border Refugees have become relevant and important issues, where delegates must use resolution and cooperation skills to address them. I hope to create a safe space where delegates, regardless of their background, can enjoy debate and foster decorum. I am honoured to serve as your Deputy Chair, and look forward to seeing the constructive and fruitful debate during the conference! Hey! My name is Levent, and I’m a Grade 10 student at UWCSEA East. I joined MUN back in Grade 6 and like many of you, I was nervous before my first conference. Now, after four years and twelve conferences, MUN has become one of my biggest passions. I’m looking forward to serving as your Head Chair for HRC, and I’m excited to see the depth, creativity and confidence you all bring!

Deputy Chair: Gabriela Bouteiller
Hi everyone. My name is Gabriela, and I’m a Grade 11 student at IFS. I first joined MUN 3 years ago, and since then, I’ve attended 6 conferences; this being my 1st time chairing. I’m passionate about MUN because it gives me the chance to meet students from different schools and learn from their perspectives. MUN has greatly improved my public speaking and confidence, while also making me more aware of global issues.
